ABOUT/CONSERVATION
Slavčo is an art conservator with 30 years experience in Europe and the U.S. He has wide experience with fine art painting restoration, frescos, murals, icons, objects, mosaics, plaster relief, metal-work, stone, bricks, copper architectural elements, and decorative painting including gilding, glazing, and decorative finishes.
Originally from Macedonia, he spent 10 years as a conservator of wall paintings for the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Skopje, Macedonia. In 2000, he moved to the United States where he has worked as a freelance conservator.
